45 Years of Mongolian Cashmere. Celebrate With Us on September 5.
About GOBI
Founded in 1981, GOBI blends centuries-old techniques with modern design. At its heart is an integrated cashmere production system in Mongolia — raw fibre, skilled craftsmanship and quality control under one roof.

Our Cashmere Cycle
Goats
Raised across vast pasturelands, through −30°C winters and +30°C summers, Mongolian goats grow the fine undercoat behind every GOBI piece.
Herders
Four decades of partnership with herder communities — 106 households and 200 selected breeding bucks improving fibre at the source.
Employees
More than 1,200 employees across the primary, spinning, weaving, knitting and sewing factories. Women are 71% of the workforce.
Customers
Made for those who value origin, quality and trust — with fair value and transparency in every piece we offer.
Mongolian Cashmere
Born from a country of extremes — 16.3 microns before spinning.
Natural Colour Cashmere

Responsibility, Measured
Responsibility at GOBI is counted, not claimed: water treated and saved in production, herder households in a long-term breeding programme, and fibre fineness recorded before a single thread is spun.
